Our Story

Peaks Up High™ Fishing began with a simple question: why do fish strike one lure and ignore another?

In 2015, our founder went on his first lure fishing trip with his father. They carried a homemade wooden rod and a small lure made from a bottle cap. They did not catch anything that day, but the experience stayed with him. From then on, Matthew became fascinated by lure action, color, balance, flash, and the small details that make fish commit.

After high school, he worked in his uncle’s mold manufacturing shop, where he learned tooling, shaping, and precision production. During the day, he studied how products were made. At night, he tested and refined his own bait designs.

That hands-on process shaped Peaks Up High™ Fishing. We build fishing gear for anglers who care about performance in real water, not just how a product looks in photos. Every lure, tool, and tackle item we offer is selected or designed with practical use in mind: movement, durability, control, and confidence on the water.
